The Giving Tree campaign is coming to a close.  If you haven’t seen the Giving Tree, stop by the office or view the items needed for auction baskets on our Amazon Wish List.

We have 6 silent auction baskets completed!

The remaining 10 baskets are very close to completion…so if you are interested in purchasing something here are the items we still need: Fondue Maker, Fondue Chocolate, Camping Marshmallow Sticks, Glitter, Finger paints, Finger paint paper, Crayons, Stickers, Jenga, Apples to Apples, Q-Bitz, Stock Pot, Soup Bowls, Pizza Cutter, Bread Cookbook, Coffee Sampler, Ice Cream Maker, Popcorn Bowl Set, Any of the movies listed, Picnic Basket, Picnic chairs.

This year the dining tables at the auction will seat 10, as opposed to 8 in years past.  Remember that you will be able to request who you are seated with on your invitation, so you can add an additional couple this year.  (We do our best to accommodate your seating arrangement!)

Things are coming along at the auction–we’ll be taste-testing menu options and the classrooms are starting to work on their projects.

The procurement team has come up with a fun new way that families at Bear Creek can help raise money for the auction–A Giving Tree.  The Giving Tree will be “growing” items from our Amazon Wish List that you can purchase.  These items will then be placed in theme baskets to be auctioned.  When you take your ticket off the tree you will be placed in a drawing for a Barnes and Noble gift card.  The drawing is going to be weekly so don’t forget to check back to the tree weekly!
