Well Ladies and Gentleman, tomorrow is the auction!

The Program of Events for the auction is this:

6pm Champagne Reception and Silent Auction

(appetizers, a signature cocktail bar, 2 full bars, free champagne!)

7:20pm Denim Close (including the Man Cave)

7:35pm Diamond Close (including the Ladies Club)

Things not to miss during the Silent Auction: Man Cave, Ladies Club, Photo Booth, Heads or Tails Game, Pick of the Live Raffle, Wine Toss, One Bid Board, Photo Wall, Class Projects

7:45pm Dinner and Live Auction

What are all of those “not to miss items”?

• Photo Booth: take pictures with your friends and neighbors!
• One Bid Board: located in the front foyer, Write your bid # on these items to win it right then!
• Pick of the Live Raffle: Winner gets first choice of the Live Auction items. Blinky ring for purchasing raffle. $50/ticket
• Heads or Tails Game: $25 to play and you receive a blue necklace. This game will be played during the Live Auction with the Auctioneer. Players pick heads or tails and the auctioneer flips a coin. Lots of fun! Prizes for 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd place.
• Man Cave: look for manly silent items here. There is a wine toss and putting green in here as well. Don’t forget your ticket for the raffle!
• Ladies Club: look for ladies items here. Have fun playing the wine toss game. Don’t forget your raffle ticket!
• Wine Toss: 3 tosses for $10, try your hand at ringing wine. Win your wine!
• Class Projects and Dessert Dash: located in the Ballroom.
• Photo Wall: Look for your child’s picture! Pictures can be purchased on a first come, first served basis. $10 each.

The end of the night:

• Empty Your Pockets: Didn’t win your live or silent items? Take a donation ticket to make an additional donation at the end of the night.
• Candy Buffet: At the end of the night guests may take treat bags home for their kids

Did you know that this year the class projects are going to be located in the ballroom during the auction? The ballroom will be open during the silent auction so that you can check out the projects and the desserts in the dessert dash. Almost all of the class projects will be a part of the live auction (2 classes did individual student projects that were sold to parents first, the ones that have not sold will be for sale in the silent auction).

I’ve added another project to the class projects page–take a peek and see which projects would look great in your home!

There are two new pages on the website, Silent Auction Sneak Peak–Denim Closing and Silent Auction Sneak Peak–Diamond Closing. Nearly all of the silent items we have are now listed on the website. This year our two closings are Denim and Diamonds. The Denim Closing will be at 7:20pm and will also include the items in the Man Cave. The Diamond Closing will be at 7:35 and will include the items in the Ladies Club. Please remember that some things may need to be moved from one close to the other during set up, so if you can’t find what you’re looking for–check the other closing.

All of the live items are listed here so you can start to think about what you want to bid on! We’ll be posting silent items later today and more class projects as they come in.

In addition to event day, we are also looking for 2 additional volunteers for the Event. If you are not attending the auction, but would still like to attend, this is a great way to do it! Volunteer time is from 5pm-10pm.

Your Man Cave hosts for the evening are David Overcash and Rhys Jones. They’ll introduce you to all of the “manly” areas of the auction:

• A Wine Toss Game for some competitive sport. For a small $$$ you will have 3 chances to ring the wine of your choice. Not a winner?–try again or accept your consolation prize in defeat.
• A mini putting green–for that chance to get a little golf practice in, graciously provided by the LeDeskys. (Like it? You can bid on a Mini-Golf Party in the Man Cave)
• Beer? We’ve got a basket for that.

If you’re looking to bid on sports items, spa items or…beer–this will be the place to do it! So don’t forget to stop by, bid, and enter your ticket in the drawing!
