Do you want a sneak peak of the Auction before the actual event? This is your chance–sign up for Event Day Volunteer! Just like last year, we need drivers and set up volunteers. Drivers will be responsible for picking up mostly baskets, but possibly a few other things, and drive it all down to the Marriott. Set-up volunteers will help prepare and decorate the Marriott. You are welcome to sign up for both slots (we encourage it:)

You don’t have to stay the whole time, we expect set up to go fairly quickly this year, and the more people we have the faster it will go! This is a fun and easy volunteer opportunity! There will also be food…

I know that we’ve been asking everyone for wine, and I know it’s a little harder for us to get this from you since wine can not be on school property. We’ve decided to make this a little easier for you by having a WINE DROP next Thursday, May 9th!

What’s a Wine Drop, you’re wondering? This is where the auction team can take that pesky wine/beer/any procurement items off your hands, after you have dropped you students off at school. Kim Hagstrom and Brooke Jones will set up a spot to drop off your procurement down by Safeway–you don’t even have to get out of your car–pull over to the side of the road, we’ll take your wine and give you a procurement form.

We will be down by Safeway before and after school: 8:15-8:45 and 2:45-3:25. You are welcome to drop off anything you have for the auction: wine, beer, any procurement items, gift cards, completed procurement forms.

Did you forget your wine? No problem, just run into Safeway and grab a bottle or two!

Please, pass this info a long! If you don’t drop off/pick up your students at school, please email Brooke Jones, brooke@rbjsolutions.com to arrange a pick up.

Wine tasting season is coming up, so this is the perfect opportunity to donate those old bottles of wine, make room for the new!

If you are looking to enhance your backyard this summer, have we got some class projects for you! Whether you’re wanting to “green” your garden, throw some fun backyard parties, or you have no green thumb at all–you’re going to love these projects:

The new reader board is up!

We made this happen! Thanks to parents and staff answering the ABC Steering Committee questionnaire, it was decided that a Reader Board would be the 2012 Auction’s Fund-A-Need. Thank you to everyone who donated to the Fund-A-Need last year. The Reader Board is going to be a fantastic addition to Bear Creek’s communication.
